There are coffees that pass by.
Ours... remains.
It lingers in the scent that embraces,
in the warmth that embraces the hands,
in the memory that resurfaces without haste.
Each grain carries the silence of the earth,
the rhythm of the seasons,
the presence of those who plant with respect
and harvest carefully.
Our coffee isn't just for drinking.
It's meant to be felt.
During the pause. During the breath.

At the moment everything slows down.
And time seems to return to its roots.
Because here, it's not just the taste that matters.
But what it awakens.
A connection with what is simple,
with what is true,
with stories that span generations
and live in every cup.

Consuelo Farm Coffee Grandpa and Dad

Our History

The influence of coffee in our family comes from our ancestors. Back in Ouro Fino, in the south of Minas Gerais, José Ricardo Tavares Serra – still young, at 18 years old – inherited part of his father's farm. So, he came with his wife and four children, acquired a property with facilities dating back the 1920's – which are still preserved – and named it Fazenda Consuelo, in honor of his only daughter, our beloved Aunt Con.

Nowadays, José Renato Miranda Serra, son of our founder, manages the property along with his children.

For us, coffee is a passion that spans generations.

Our Farm

This is where it all happens.

Fazenda Consuelo has been dedicated to coffee cultivation since its founding in the mid-1970s. Acquired by José Ricardo Tavares Serra, the property remains under the care of our family to this day. José Renato Miranda Serra, the second generation, became a professional, graduating as an agronomist, as did his son, who also works on the farm.

There are over 1 million coffee plants of the Arabica variety irrigated by drip irrigation, at an altitude of 650 meters, favorable for the cultivation of quality coffee. The harvest is mostly done by machine, with selective manual harvesting reserved for some special plots.

Our management is entirely family-run and we are already in our third generation. Our pillars are traceability, sustainability and the well-being of our employees - we are certified by the Rainforest Alliance.

In 2023, we, who have always valued quality in production, began to venture into the world of coffee in a different way.

That's when our own brand of specialty coffees was born.
